Dr Khamsum Kinley

Dr Kinley obtained his PhD and Master of Information Technology from the Information Systems School at QUT (Kinley is the first Bhutanese to earn a Master degree and PhD from QUT in 2006 and 2012 respectively). 

Kinley has over 20 years’ experience in teaching, training, development and research in the areas of information and communication technologies, digital tools and educational technologies, both in Australia and Bhutan. 
Kinley has worked with several associations and communities and organised fundraising events since 2011 to support less advantaged people in Bhutan in the areas of education, health and wellbeing. 

Mr Tim Cheeseman

Tim has over 20 years experience working in international Higher Education in Australia. Tim has been engaged with Bhutan since 2007, assisting with scholarships, partnerships and supporting students from many countries, including Bhutan, through their journey in Australia. Tim has travelled and worked in Bhutan. 

Dr Tshering Dema

Dr Tshering has been living in Brisbane, Australia for almost nine years. She has completed her PhD in Human Computer Interaction from Queensland University of Technology in 2021. Prior to her stay in Brisbane, She served as a lecturer at Royal University of Bhutan. She has been working across Bhutan and Australia for her PhD on environmental conservation and nature connection projects. She also serves as the General Secretary of Aoling Dewachen Brisbane Incorporated (ADBI), a buddhist religious non-profit association in Australia. For leisure, she loves listening to music.

Mr Ugyen Thinley

Mr Ugyen Thinley works as a Finance officer at the Royal on the Park Hotel and Suits in Brisbane, Australia.
